Thefts

A number of thefts have occurred in the village recently.
Please check your property and report thefts to the police.

Wareham West Safer Neighbourhood Team Information Summary 14102011.
Information about recent crimes regarding;
Theft of Staddle stones, Theft of gardening equipment, and a theft of a bicycle.
Over the last couple of weeks, the rural Wareham area, specifically near Throop, have had a few thefts of Staddle stones, a white transit van was seen in the area acting suspiciously but no further information is known to Police.
In the Wool / Winfrith area there has been three breaks into non dwellings where gardening equipment has been stolen. We have no further information regarding these thefts which occured over the weekend of Friday the 7th October.
In West Lulworth on the 2nd of October, a GIANT bicycle was stolen from a residential garden, the bicycle is Blue and silver in colour and in good condition. It has a central mudguard but no front or rear mud guard.
Please if possible fit garage or shed alarms and mark all your property with your postcode and house number.
