Barn Dances

There are not so many Barn dances as was once the case.
For enthusiasts and those of us who enjoy the challenge and having a laugh this is unfortunate.
However Arish Mel English Ceilidh Band are starting a revival in Kimmeridge
and we shall be holding  some here in the village.

Kimmeridge Keilidhs
Starting in October the Isle of Purbeck's very own Arish Mel English Ceilidh Band are hosting a monthly "English Ceilidh" at Kimmeridge Village Hall. These will be on the Second Friday of each month - 12th Oct, 9th Nov & 14th Dec from 7.30pm to 10pm. We will keep admission charge to a minimum (adults £2.50, kids £1) since they are not profit-making, but any surplus will go to the new Kimmeridge Playground and the Fossil Museum. We will be working with several local callers to give a varied programme of dances. No experience needed - the caller will tell you what to do and the music will make your feet dance! There will also be an entertainment spot during the evening to allow you to get your breath back! No bar - so bring your own drinks & snacks - or you could go next door to Clavells first for a lovely meal before joining us to dance it off!
