Tree planting
A section of land at Newlands Farm has been set aside
for a Jubilee Wood. James Weld has offered to provide the trees. Each household
will be given a tree for planting.
Since June
is not the ideal month for planting trees, it has been suggested that
this be
postponed to the Autumn. Also it has been suggested that James Weld be
invited to plant a single tree and unveil a plaque during
the Jubilee weekend.
