This relates to an incident that occured in the Wool area. Police in Purbeck are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a number of sheep were killed in Wool.
The incident, in which 9 sheep were killed by another animal happened between 5pm on Sunday 4 December 2011 and 9.30am on Monday 5 December 2011 in the Water Meadow Lane area of the village.

The area is one that dog walkers regularly use and we are hopeful that somebody has seen what happened.
There has also been a further incident which occured on the 5th of December wherby two uncontrolled dogs attacked another dog in the same area.
Please when walking through any fields or tracks in the Wool and Bovington area keep sight of your dogs. If you see any loose dogs that do not appear to be under control then report it to police as soon as possible using the 101 non emergency number.
